Even cooler and way more independent than the Hoof Reaper, the Tentacle V2 from Earthquaker Devices is familiar but awesome-sounding analogue octave up effect. For the ultimate ease of use, the effect doesn't come fitted with any controls and can be freely combined with various other effects such as some nice and furry fuzz. Since the footswitch features Flexi-Switch technology, you can even use the Tentacle as a momentary effect and, as a tip, let us just say that it sounds its absolute best in combination with the neck pickup of your guitar and when you play the higher frets.
